Medium color and a nose of raspberry and cranberry, with hints of citrus, introduce the wine. Cherry/berry flavors abound in the mouth with added input of citrus and cola. There is a savory cast to the wine, and a good balance of tannin and subtle oak. This is a full flavored wine for a variety of foods.

The 2A clone from the Ferrington Vineyard provided red fruit notes and suppleness while the Klindt and Wiley Vineyards provided dark fruit flavors. The old block Pommard from the Conzelman Vineyard contributed herb, cherry and spice notes with acidity and tannins for structure.
