Delicate color and a full, clean nose of red fruits introduces this wine. The flavors are spicy, rich and fruity. Red and black fruits are both found, with a hint of pomegranate seeds lingering. The wine finishes with black plum, firm tannins and a hint of sweetness. An easy drinking and versatile wine!
New Release - November 2018!
The deepest color of all our Pinots. The nose is initially closed, but opens up with dark fruit, dates, spice and earth. This clone, harvested from young vines, is new to the lineup. The flavors are somewhat wild and exotic, atypical of our other Pinots. Pomegranate and other red fruit are present, but also syrah-like flavors of leather and hay poke through. Firm tannins give the wine structure to age. An intriguing wine that is excellent with lamb dishes.

This wine has good color and a typical Pinot nose of cherry, red plum and brown spices. The flavors are big and bright with red fruits of cherry and strawberry. A bit of orange zest peeks through. Tangy and juicy, the wine has good acid and tannin structure. It is an impressive wine with long ageing potential.

This wine has a typical Pinot nose of red cherry, red plum, and blackberry with a hint of vanilla.
Medium color and a nose of raspberry and cranberry, with hints of citrus, introduce the wine. Cherry/berry flavors abound in the mouth with added input of citrus and cola. There is a savory cast to the wine, and a good balance of tannin and subtle oak. This is a full flavored wine for a variety of foods.

NEW RELEASE MAY 2019! 100% Oppenlander Vineyard, Comptche
As usual, the Oppenlander Vineyard has produced a stellar wine. It has medium color and a typical Pinot nose that slowly evolves into black cherry and other red fruits, with a hint of orange zest. This vineyard is able to stand alone with its juicy, intense flavors that fill the mouth with strawberry, blackberry and orange peel. The balance of tannin and acid enhances the big flavors. It finishes with a hint of eucalyptus. Yummy!

The deep color of the wine is typical of The Noble One. The nose is of dark fruits--blackberry, black plum--with spices and chocolate. The flavors in this wine are plush, round and mouth filling. Black cherry dominates, followed by cola and baking spices. The integrated tannins provide structure and texture.

The color is garnet and the wine is still showing its youth.
NEW RELEASE in NOVEMBER 2016! This bottling of The Noble One 2010 is a straight up Pinot Noir. The nose is very forward, bursting with red fruit and notes of cherry and cranberry.

This wine has a typical Anderson Valley nose of red fruit, cranberry, and raspberry with a hint of orange zest and vanilla.
Bright fruits of blueberry, cherry, red licorice and cola are the first impression in the mouth.

Medium dark in color, the wine presents a full nose of dark cherry and cola. The flavors are immediate and bright, with blackberry, currant and anise showing first.

As with previous vintages, this bottling of Delicace' opens with red fruit aromas of strawberry and spice. The mouth feel is full and rich. The flavors echo the nose with delicate flavors of strawberry pie and hints of rhubarb and pomegranate. The acidity is firm, contributing to bright notes and a lingering finish.

The 2A clone from the Ferrington Vineyard provided red fruit notes and suppleness while the Klindt and Wiley Vineyards provided dark fruit flavors. The old block Pommard from the Conzelman Vineyard contributed herb, cherry and spice notes with acidity and tannins for structure.

This bottling of ‘The Noble One’ is a bold and juicy offering! The nose presents aromas of black fruit, spice and a hint of molasses. The flavors also reflect notes of black fruit, cola and baking spices. Hints of orange zest and milk chocolate complete the complex finish.
